Team Segment 28 Scavenger Hunt

In a community such as Durango’s, the COVID-19 pandemic really hindered our ability to gather as cyclists. We where all missing racing, training, and socializing tother and so we decided to start a scavenger hunt using social media to get the community out on the trails in a responsible manner.

The scavenger hunt was so successful we’ve continued to host scavenger hunts each spring and 2023 is no different!. We’ve changed the rules slightly, but the goal remains the same – to get out and enjoy the amazing trails Durango has to offer.

How the Scavenger Hunt Works:

• Each week the hunt is hosted, we’ll hide 2 scavenger hunt prize certificate somewhere along our favorite rides

• Each prize certificate represents a Durango-related prize

• Clues for where to find said prizes will be posted in the form of a Instagram story to the @teamsegment28 instagram account at approximately 8:00 AM on the morning of the hunt.

• Be sure to follow @teamsegment on Instagram and turn on post notifications so you can be the first to see when the clues are posted!

• Once the clue is posted on instragram, go out and hunt for the prize certificates

• In order to redeem the prize, the contestant must provide proof of finding it through a post to their IG stories or their main page and tag @teamsegment28

• After posting a picture with the plate, the winner must follow @teamsegment28 and Team Segment 28 will DM the winner instructions for redeeming their prize
