Team Segment 28
Developing Racers, Rooted in Durango's CultureA Legendary Legacy
The Durango Race Team has been blazing the Durango trails and regional races for over 15 years. The diverse group of mountain bikers has left its mark on the Durango cycling community through both competitive drive and adventurous spirit with past riders being a veritable who’s who of the Durango riding scene.
The missing link of Racer Development
Between Durango DEVO and Fort Lewis College Cycling, our town consistently raises and attracts the best youth talent in the country, yet a regional pro-development team is unavailable. This results in promising Durango riders joining and representing non-local teams, while still being developed by our cycling community and on our trails. Starting in 2021, our goal and passion will be to provide the missing link for promising competitive talent to represent Durango leading up to higher pro ranks nationally.
The Team
Team Segment 28 is a collection of a professional team, developing racers, and ambassadors that work behind the scenes to run the team and stay involved in the Durango cycling community.
